My new name is Jaime and I came from Chengdu with several of my pug friends. In China I lived in a puppy factory. I never got to play, or walk on grass, or sleep in a bed. Everything is new to me and it's wonderful (but occasionally a bit overwhelming and scary). I'm a little guy, and my Foster Mama, the Pug Queen keeps telling me that I'm "gorgeous". Because I came from such a terrible situation, I get a little jumpy and edgy. There's just so much to understand and learn, but I'm working hard to get the hang of it. I also have some problems including locating patellas (knees that face outwards). The "dogtors" say I may need expensive surgery on both legs, but I'm working on gaining some weight first. I'm not quite ready for my forever home yet, but I'm getting there. (Mama PQ says I'm "vulnerable and so loving!") Please keep me in mind for future adoption and/or fostering. I'm working hard to learn and get well so I'll be ready for my happy new life with you!
