Sara is approximately 7 years-old and was rescued from Tijuana, Mexico. She was found chained at a car shop, sleeping on newspapers, covered in fleas, ticks, an injured eye and a shattered leg. God only knows how long she suffered in such pain. We arranged transport to LA and took Sara straight to the ER where she received a blood transfusion to due to severe anemia from the fleas and ticks. She felt much better within days and was able to undergo femur reconstruction surgery. She is healing well, gaining weight, and is the sweetest most grateful little girl. She is a little timid but coming out of her shell more and more each day. She likes to snuggle with the senior pugs but doesn’t care much for young puppies in her face. She will be ready for her forever home in a couple of weeks.
