MAVERICK Hi everyone! My name is Maverick, and I’m a one-year-old energetic boy. 🛩️🐾

I was rescued by @thepugqueen (https://www.instagram.com/thepugqueen/) from a backyard in Visalia where I was kept outside and wasn’t treated very well. Thankfully, my life has completely changed! I’m currently being fostered by Angel Marty’s parents, Megan @megantommet (https://www.instagram.com/megantommet/) and Humberto @ramirezfilms (https://www.instagram.com/ramirezfilms/) in Long Beach, CA. If you know them, you already know they’re crazy pug people who throw epic birthday parties! 🎉

According to my foster parents...

🐾 I LOVE my walkies! As soon as you head toward the door and grab my harness, I get so excited. I even remember where all my neighborhood dog friends live and make sure we stop by to say hi.

🏡 I haven’t had any accidents in the house yet (even with all wood floors!). I’m a good eater and love wet food mixed with my kibble.

⚽ My favorite toy is my soccer ball, but I’ll happily entertain myself with just about any toy. I also have a funny habit of carrying your shoes and slippers into different rooms. Don’t worry—I don’t chew them!

🚗 I’m great in the car and love sticking my head out the window to enjoy the breeze.

🚽 Privacy? Never heard of it. If you’re going to the bathroom, I’m coming too. I love being with my people and will happily follow you wherever you go.

🎾 I’m still a young guy with lots of energy, so I love to play, explore, and have fun. Once I’ve had my exercise and playtime, I’m happy to relax and hang out with my family. I will need some support to learn commands and rules.
